Peig Donoghue is originally from Holyoke Massachusetts, where she was surrounded by her father's
Sliabh Luachra heritage and culture, recognized Internationally as a bedrock of Traditional Irish Music in County Kerry and County Cork.
She is a highly sought-after session Bodhran player in the Southeast Massachusetts and Boston area, performing with Rose Clancy weekly.
Peig is a travelling musician who is invited to play gigs in Doolin Co Clare, one of the most famous towns in the world for Traditional Irish Music on her frequent trips home to visit her family, as well as in Killarney, Killgarvan and Top Coom Pub in the Derrynasaggart Mountains.
Peig started her own Irish Trad Band, Rossacroo-Na-Loo and Happy Out. They have performed all over the Eastern Massachusetts for private functions, parties.
